The Goblins Greetings event is currently live in Diablo 4, and if you are looking to farm loot, reputation, and crafting materials, this is one of the best limited-time events to jump into. Even better, it is available to all players, including those who do not own the Vessel of Hatred expansion. Goblins Greetings Event Overview As the name suggests, this event is all about goblins. During the Goblins Greetings event, killing any goblins grants event reputation, and Whisper turn-ins now reward double Whisper Caches (2 per turn-in). On top of that, you also get a free gift in the in-game shop for the next 3 days. The event hub is located in Kyovashad and includes:

• A reputation board
• A one-time Resplendent Spark reward
• A repeatable Goblin board you can farm endlessly

Reaching Rank 10 on the Goblin board unlocks:

• March of the Goblin Emblem
• Legendary Goblin Gift

Best Places to Farm Goblins in the Open World Goblin spawn rates have been increased across the open world, but some locations are clearly better than others, especially if you stay mounted and check the full map regularly (with Subo as your Mercenary). Turning off cross-network helps reduce competition and makes spawns feel more reliable. If You Own the Expansion

• Nahantu is the best open-world location thanks to its high goblin density
• You will run into goblins constantly while moving between objectives
• If you are tired of running through jungles, the Ked Bardu coastline is another good option

• Nightmare Dungeons are still excellent
• PvP zones are surprisingly strong for goblin farming

Best Farming Method Overall: Treasure Breach Nightmare Dungeons If you want the fastest results, Treasure Breach Nightmare Dungeons are currently unmatched. Goblins often spawn in pairs or groups, and the amount of loot they drop is far above most other activities. Dungeons with this affix also shower you with Obducite. Many players are going from almost nothing to hundreds of thousands in just a few runs. Running these dungeons in rotation groups makes things even better: When you are in a four-player group, each player uses a sigil once. That means you only spend one of yours, but still walk away with four dungeon runs’ worth of goblins, loot, and reputation. Treasure Breach sigils are rare, but you can craft them at the Occultist by salvaging other sigils. RNG varies a lot, so some crafting is usually needed. Generally, it is worth keeping sigils with these effects:

• Treasure Breach
• Hidden Armory
• Horadric Strongroom

Other sigils can safely be salvaged to keep your inventory clean and feed sigil crafting (meaning you salvage all the keys you do not want to keep, and use the sigil powder you gained from those to craft new Nightmare Dungeon keys). Infernal Hordes and Chaos Goblin Waves Infernal Hordes are another good option if you are tired of running dungeons, mainly because of Chaos Aether Goblin Waves. When these appear, they can push event reputation extremely fast and sometimes complete multiple ranks in a single run. They are not guaranteed and rely on luck, but when they happen, the rewards are hard to beat. World Boss and Essence of Sin Farming Farming Azmodan as a World Boss or summoning him near Zarbinzet (Hawezar) is also great during the event, due to how quickly you can level up the Essence of Sin Divine Gift for the purified effect (ideally to Rank 4 or 5) and drop more Nightmare Sigils. Normal difficulty kills are usually the fastest. A Quick Note on RNG Some parts of the event rely heavily on luck. Chaos Goblin Waves can be rare, Treasure Breach sigils are far from guaranteed, and goblin density can vary between runs. However, when things do line up, rewards are excellent. When they do not, progress can slow down. Nevertheless, focusing on Treasure Breach dungeons, efficient routing in the open world, and group play still gives the most consistent results overall.
