[Icy-Veins] Diablo 4’s Dark Citadel Runs Ruined by Frustrating Consumable Clutter
One of Diablo 4’s biggest problems since launch has been the overcluttering of its inventory system. While some problems have been fixed, such as Gems moving to the materials tab back in season 2, there are still plenty of inconveniences to be fixed. One cornerstone of Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion is the Dark Citadel, one of the many endgame activities players can venture into to obtain Weekly Cache’s Citadel Coins and other cosmetics. But like farming anything in Diablo 4, chaining back-to-back runs together always results in your bags being clogged with items, or in the case of the Dark Citadel, Scrolls, Elixirs, and Incense. While some items, such as summoning materials for bosses, have higher stack limits, almost all items from the Dark Citadel, such as Scrolls, have a relatively low stacking limit of around 10, making it very easy for them to overflow inventories after a handful of runs.
While we don’t know how easy or difficult it is for Diablo 4’s developers to implement any of these fixes to the inventory system, there have been clear attempts to fix these problems, especially in Season 4. So, while there is no official confirmation as to when these problems will be addressed, all we can hope for is that they will be changed soon.
