Blizzard will soon host the next Diablo 4 developer update livestream, and they are rolling out a new Twitch drop to go with it. If you like grabbing cosmetics for free, this one is easy. All you need to do is watch a bit of Diablo content while the stream is live, link your accounts, and claim the weapon skin once the timer hits thirty (or more) minutes. Diablo 4 Twitch Drop: How to Earn the Unhilted Striked Sword Blizzard confirmed that watching any stream in the Diablo 4 Twitch category for thirty minutes during the developer update will unlock the Unhilted Striked One-handed Sword cosmetic. You do not need to watch Blizzard’s official Diablo channel. Any stream with drops enabled counts. However, the drop is live only while the developer update is running, so make sure your account is linked before you start watching. How to Link Your Battle.net and Twitch Accounts If your accounts are not linked, the drop will not show up. You can link them in a few steps:

• Log in to your Battle.net account
• Open the Connections page
• Click the Twitch entry and follow the on-screen steps
• Once both accounts are linked, you are ready to earn progress

There is no requirement to own Diablo 4 or Vessel of Hatred. Progress toward the drop works even if you do not own either game yet. Where You Can Watch and Claim the Drop You can earn and claim drops on:

• Desktop browser
• Mobile browser
• Twitch app on Android or iOS

Drops do not work on console apps, smart TVs, or TV-based Twitch apps. Streams in background tabs or inactive windows also do not count, so keep the player visible while you watch. Once your thirty minutes are done, you need to claim the drop manually. You can claim it either on the stream you are watching or in your Twitch Drops Inventory. If the reward sits unclaimed on your Battle.net account for more than seven days, it will expire. If You Stream Diablo 4 Yourself Creators can enable the drop by linking their Battle.net and Twitch accounts and opting in through the Drops Streamer Home. Once the event starts, any viewer who watches for thirty minutes can earn the cosmetic on your channel. The Unhilted Striked Sword is a cool bonus for anyone joining the developer update, so it is worth picking up if you are already watching the stream anyway. Just make sure your accounts are linked and claim the drop once the timer is done. Easy cosmetic, easy win.
