[Games Fuze] Lies of P Overture: Best DLC Weapon Tier List

#1

Post by NewsBOT »

Lies of P: Overture expands P’s repertoire of weapons with 10 more weapons, which we will be ranking today from best to worst. Just like the ones in the base game, these new weapons aren’t all made equal. Quite literally, in fact, considering how different the special and boss weapons are from regular ones! Nonetheless, read on for our full tier list ranking. Best DLC Weapon Tier List | Lies of P: Overture Image
  • S+ Tier – Monad’s Rose Sword
  • S Tier – Pale Knight, Death’s Talons, Royal Horn Bow
  • A Tier – Lorenzini Bolt, Maniac’s Pinwheel, La Vendetta, Puppet of the Future’s Welder
  • B Tier – Silent Evangelists’ Mace, Arche’s Guardian
Surprising pretty much no one, our S+ and S tiers are entirely made out of unique special weapons, which are quite a treat in this DLC! Image First of all, let’s talk about the Monad’s Rose Sword. It deserves its very own tier at the top simply because this weapon is positively ridiculous. It’s fast and light while also being capable of dishing out incredibly high damage. The only downside is that you get it at the very end of the DLC, being a reward for the final boss. Most notably, its “By The Name of the Rose” Fable Art is pretty much broken. After a bit of a long animation, P will disappear and cover the nearby area in fast slashes that deal massive damage. All that while being invincible during the animation after the startup. For bonus effect, just sing “I am the storm that is approaching” as you use it! S Tier Image Next up in the S Tier, let’s kick things off with the powerful Pale Knight. This unique weapon is pretty much a gunblade, working just like how any Final Fantasy fan would expect from Squall’s signature weapon. Its light attacks are pretty speedy horizontal slashes that hit hard and cover a wide area. The heavy attacks, on the other hand, allow you to use the “gun” portion of the gunblade. Heavy attacks cause detonations that can deal massive damage, while also allowing you to reposition to dodge attacks with the recoil. Image Right behind the Pale Knight are the Death’s Talons, which are a unique claw that works best for anyone wanting a very agile Technique-focused playstyle. They have a ridiculous 40% Critical Rate, which means they also pair great with the Assassin’s Amulet for great damage. They also pair excellently with the Arm of God Amulet, thanks to the speedy moveset! Image Last but not least, we have the Royal Horn Bow. This is potentially the first unique weapon you can get in the DLC, as it’s found pretty early on. What makes it shine is the fact that it’s the only bow in the game, and it doesn’t even require a supply of arrows to use! This gives you free projectile options, making it an excellent secondary weapon for pretty much every build. Its damage isn’t too high and it can be clunky against bosses, but it’s always good to have! A Tier and B Tier Image As for the A and B tiers, these are mostly just the “generic” weapons, which are hard to rank in Lies of P. After all, you can disassemble all of these into blades and handles you can mix and match. Since this gives you a lot of options for potential weapons, it’s kind of hard to quantify just how good each weapon is on its own! Nonetheless, the main thing setting the A and B tiers apart here is the uniqueness of each weapon. The weapons in A tier are all special in some way. For example, Lorenzini Bolt gives you crazy boost-powered charging attacks, while the Puppet of the Future’s Welder acts as a straightforward flamethrower. Image The weapons in B tier, on the other hand, are pretty basic. They do have unique Fable Arts and they’re pretty solid, sure. But they are just not as interesting as the A tiers or as powerful as the S tiers. That said, we’re sure you can find some great success using their blades and handles for customization! Nonetheless, that’s the end of our Lies of P: Overture DLC weapon tier list. Eager to get your hands on all of these fun weapons yourself?
