• Tortured Gift Chests (Helltide) – ~15% chance
•  Hellborne – ~1% chance
•  Helltide Assassins – ~1% chance
•  World Events – Unconfirmed rate (estimated ~5%)
•  World Bosses (Hawezar & Kehjistan Helltide zones) – 100% guaranteed
  
•  Helltide Commander Events – 100% guaranteed
  

But what Blizzard didn’t mention: Helltide Harbingers also drop Baneful Hearts at a decent rate (~15%). The Best Farming Route: Kehjistan Commander Loop If you want to guarantee Baneful Heart drops consistently, the best method right now is the Commander Event farming loop in Kehjistan, just north of Gea Kul. Here’s how it works:

• There are two world event areas north of Gea Kul.
• Each sits in a different map segment, so transitioning between them can cause enemy events to “refresh”.
• These areas frequently spawn Helltide Commander Events—recognizable as: A massive tornado surrounded by cultists
• A ritual circle summoning hell portals

Why this route is so effective?

• Commander Events = Guaranteed Baneful Heart
• Fast clears (~30 seconds with a strong build)
• Harbingers spawn along the route, often dropping more Hearts
• Builds Threat to summon Hellborne
• Earns Cinders to spend on Tortured Gift Chests
• Constant event refreshes = nonstop action
