Blizzard’s latest Campfire Chat focuses on Diablo 4’s upcoming Season 8 and PTR learnings. We’re live-blogging it, so check back often for updates. Highlights Boss Ladder Bosses are free to summon in Season 8. Blizzard shared the following neat flowchart during the stream. It shows how players gain access to climb the Boss Ladder. Blizzard has nerfed chain farming of Lair Bosses with targeted updates to loot tables. Apparition Incursions

• They’ve rebalanced the role of the Apparition Incursions. They’ve added a Whisper Bounty to them.
• Based on PTR feedback, they reduced Spectral Ash requirements to upgrade Boss Powers and they’ve buffed the amount of Spectral Ash dropped from Lair Bosses.
• Apparition Incursions are there to introduce you to Boss Powers and Spectral Ash.

Boss Powers

• Boss Powers have been rebalanced based on PTR testing.
• They want them to be important to your build, but not dominate your build.
• They’ve adjusted the scaling of Boss Powers.
• On the PTR they would scale up to Paragon Level 300. Now they are capped at Level 200.
• Some powers have been reworked, for example, Andariel’s Flaming Skull and Urivar’s Lobbed Bombs.

• Whirlwind Buffs
• Executioner’s Aspect Capped

Druid

• Earthen Might Buff
• Early Game Resourcer Buffs
• Gathlen’s Birthright Buff (new unique helm which encourages you to stay in Human form)

Necromancer

• Slight Blood Wave Buff
• Blood Lance Always Spreads
• Vampiric Curse is now a Curse

Rogue

• Shadow Clone Cutthroat
• Death Trap Overperformed
• Bands of Ichorous Rose

Sorceress

• Avalanche Rework
• Smoother Familiar Animation
• Ice Shards

Spiritborn

• Bug Fix on Unyielding Hits
• Sepazontec Buffs
• Sunbird’s Gorget and Rushing Claw Buffs

System Updates

• The Conduit shrine has been removed for the season.
• Ancestral Whisper Caches return from Season 7
• Obol Gambler has been buffed. In Torment+ when you buy a full inventory, at least 1 piece will be Ancestral.
• They made leveling glyphs easier (50 tier deficit).
• Tempering now remembers the recipe, no need to go over the recipe.

New Leveling Curve

• Blizzard toned down the leveling speed reduction! It’s slower but not as slow as it was during PTR testing.

Season Journey Changes Season Blessings are no longer part of the Battle Pass. New rewards have been added and the user interface has been updated.

The Reliquary

• Blizzard’s is revamping the Battle Pass into Reliquaries. You spend Favor to buy rewards. There are two Battle Pass options for players.
• The Reliquary allows them to easily add rewards from IP Collabs

Diablo X Berserk Collab

• Launches on May 6.
• More details can be found here.

• Chimimoryo from berserk is coming to Diablo 4. It has an animation where the bugger is coming out of the nose.
