Good article Ed. I know that I joined the military to leave my home town which was small. I have stayed in the military for the past 16 years because it is something I truly love even though sometimes it's rough. I would not trade the last 16 years for anything else though. I have met some of the best people I will ever know in my life and some have become closer than than even my on blood relatives. That is the bond that we develop as military members, Have a great memorial day weekend and never forget those around you.

Good article brother. I initially joined in 1998 because I needed some sense of direction in my life. I chose the Navy because that was in the blood line of my family. My Dad ,Grandfather, Uncle, and cousin had served in the Navy. I was coming up on a year left when 9/11 happened and I felt a strong obligation to re-enlist and continue to serve. So I made the commitment to stay in November 2001 and haven't looked back since. I have had the pleasure of working for and with some of the most influential people I have ever met. Now being a Senior Chief (E8) with 14 1/2 years in I look forward to continuing my journey and hope to have the same positive and lasting impact on those I lead.

I was unfortunate enough to have firsthand experience with a Children's Miracle Network hospital when my daughter was diagnosed with myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle that if not corrected can be very life threatening. We were fortunate however to have received superb care for our daughter and the ability to take her home, she was 5 then. Now at age 9 she is in perfect health and receives regular checks to ensure that fact. These hospitals provide world class care and support to both patients and families....this is why they need our help, to be able to continue this is very expensive. Please donate to any member you choose, it doesn't have to be much, merely what you can afford, every little bit helps and goes back to these kids. So we sacrifice 24 hours in an effort to raise awareness and funds to aid those kids who need it...please spread the word and help us gather donations and aid these wonderful kids!

I'm glad that we finally have solid answers on the new Xbox One and I also think Sony is waiting for their alone time in the spotlight...but it better be impressive they wouldn't want to fall behind the hype power curve and then have to play catch up on launch sales. Bring on E3!

I have owned every Nintendo system released (minus the Virtual Boy) and have been saddened as they have been on the decline and unable to keep pace maintaining their own innovation and individuality. I do own a Wii U (the Zombie U Edition), this purchase was mainly for my daughter. While the upgrade to HD is nice, it should have been in the Wii. The game pad has potential and feels comfortable in your hands and the ability to use your already owned Wii accessories is great. The ability for off tv play is great for parents, but not every game has that ability. Another downside s the re-release of NES titles in the new Wii U store must be repurchased (at a very reduced cost) if you wish to have the ability to play them on the game pad. The system has potential, especially for younger gamers or fans of their first party titles....however the system needs more advertising and backing by the publishers if they want to succeed.

They should release before Black Friday to take advantage of the holiday rush, price point sounds about right. The big question is if they will subsidize with, lets say a 2 year required Gold subscription. Still can't decide which I'll purchase the Xbox One or PS4... But that's another conversation

Deadpool and Lost Planet 3 will be the ones I pick up. The summer can be a draught of quality gaming titles but these seem to have some potential. Just be sure to get some sun and enjoy the weather.....the fall will bring great gaming!

Nice summary Sgt....
My guess for release is the same as yours. Microsoft will want to hit the holiday rush (November time frame). I am concerned about buying one immediately. It is like anything else... It takes a bit of time to work the bugs out that the testers miss.
